Marieke Peters

In the work of Marieke Peters, strength and vulnerability come together. She creates objects and
paintings in which recognition and alienation come together. Her work is like a melancholic memory and invites you to give a personal interpretation of what you perceive.

Marieke works with a combination of different techniques and materials. Photography, painting and screen printing are brought together in different layers on glass, old wooden panels, linen and ceramics. The different techniques together and working with the different materials give her the opportunity to differentiate the theme each time.
