Marita Konstantinopoulou

I am a painter, iconographer, and musician whose work is rooted in the spiritual depth of the Byzantine tradition and enriched by elements of Cubism and refined realism. My artistic practice explores the inner world of the human soul, seeking to reveal emotional intensity, silence, and transcendence through form and color.

Working with traditional materials such as egg tempera and authentic iconography pigments, alongside acrylics, I maintain a strong connection to ancient techniques while expressing a contemporary visual language. This dialogue between tradition and modern expression allows my work to exist beyond time, merging sacred heritage with personal artistic vision.

Painting, iconography, and music are inseparable parts of my creative life. Together, they form a unified path through which I explore spiritual presence, human emotion, and the essence of being.
