As a painter in the classical sense, my work is founded upon the principles of modern Surrealism and Neo-surrealism, but also draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including popular culture and digital technology. Unlike traditional Surrealism, which was mostly concerned with exploring the subconscious, contemporary Neo-surrealism is also focused on blurring the boundaries between reality and the imaginary, and pushing the boundaries of traditional artistic conventions.
