Mark Maziarz

Mark Maziarz moved out West after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in
economics. In Park City, he began photographing Utah’s interesting people, incredible athletes
and beautiful natural surroundings. Now, as an award-winning stock, assignment and fine art
photographer, he shoots environmental portraits, individual sports, lifestyle images and Park
City scenes for his personal stock file of over a quarter million images as well as five
international agencies. He recently published a 144 page hard cover coffee table book titled
Park City: A Portrait with photographer Rick Pieros.

He’s also been inspired to create thematic collections; recent photographic series have focused
on beds, abstract landscapes, portraits of artists, and even snowflakes. Maziarz’s work has
appeared in publications around the world, with notable clients including Ski Magazine, Cesar
Dog Food, Powder Magazine, Kodak, Forbes Magazine, and Disney. But at the end of the day,
he’s most thrilled to just capture a great moment.
