Marko Rasic

I love to write. It’s my my personal tool of inspiration. I write texts and verses that inspire me while I'm focused on expression through rhythm, stroke and space. I do it to get into focus, find my own peace and gain my personal natural rhythm by doing repetitive movements. Something like meditation through art or art through meditation.

As I write on different surfaces I love to feel the texture of the object. Canvases, walls, t-shirts, papers… Each of these objects has its tactility. They can be smooth, rough and bumpy, heavy, soft, fury, rubbery, sticky, wet, vibrant, vivid, porous, slick, grainy… I take pleasure in working on any of them.

Beside this I’m working on multidisciplinary design projects with my partner Vedrana Vrabec. By making projects that can integrate art and design we seek to erase boundaries between various visual disciplines. Our specialty is experiential and environmental graphic design. We've worked on many exhibition designs that were based on interactivity and multimedia. Some of our projects already won awards and have been published in numerous design magazines and books.
