I was born and raised in Crimea, Ukraine, by the sea, surrounded by stunning nature that has been my source of inspiration since childhood.
My artistic journey began in a creative family: my father was an architect, and my grandfather was a painter and sculptor. They taught me how to see beauty in everyday life. I still remember walks with my father, when we would stop to observe the beauty around us — a habit I now pass on to my own children.
In my work, I turn to themes of femininity, the beauty of nature, and my Ukrainian roots and culture, which are deeply important to me. Currently, I am developing a series of paintings inspired by Crimean Tatar ornament — the culture of the indigenous people of my homeland, who are now facing oppression and persecution.
Florida has become a new oasis of peace and beauty for me. Here, among birds and plants, I find strength to cope with longing for my home and the sorrow brought by the war in Ukraine. Painting helps me transform these emotions into light and harmony.
