Mary Sand

Inspired by a life filled with a passion for horses, my work is a result of endless hours of riding, grooming and studying the anatomy.
I began sculpting in 1997 in parallel with my technical career in satellite imagery followed by ultrasound technology and transitioned too sculpture full-time in 2005.

American Academy of Equine Art (1998, 1999) and workshop in 2007 with master figurative sculptor Richard MacDonald.
