Mochammad Samba

Mochamad Samba is an Indonesian artist who was born in Depok City, West Java on September 4 1995. He started working as an autodidact. Working as a samba technician, he began to dive into the world of painting when he was selected to take part in a young artist workshop organized by the Hanafi Studio Paper Gallery - Depok. Abstract Expressionism has become a style trend in work, his work talks a lot about the feelings he experienced and the feelings of other people that he told him about, trying to visualize an emotional feeling into a form of work that is colorful and has texture. His work is not tied to one medium, but he mixes many of his works with several additional elements but does not eliminate the basic ingredients in making a painting. The creative process becomes a new meditation in his life, where the mind, soul, body and feelings become one in the realm of contemplation.
