My art theme is “the Energy of Birth”.

The “life-like-forms” emerging on the canvas would be embodiment of the energy that is struggling to take shape.

In my work, I would like to express the power and energy of life forms, rather than simply viewing them as motifs.

The moment where something new appears fills of anxiety and frustration, but also the dynamism and exuberance enough to suppress such negative feelings.

I make such an exciting world where something lively emerging from chaos by the elegant and vigorous expression.

Born in Japan, Masumi graduated from Kobe University, majoring molecular biology and evolution (Ph.D), worked as a biologist in several research institutes in France and Japan. The research experience deeply gave me the idea about creation.

神戸大学自然科学研究科卒、専攻は分子生物学、進化学。フランスや日本の研究機関に研究者として従事した経験が、現在の芸術性に大きく影響している。

Under Takahiro KIMURA, one of the most brilliant Japanese artists, began to create artworks. Through his original method "KAIGA(快画)”, she developed her creativity.

木村タカヒロ創作室でアート制作を開始。木村先生独自の方法である「快画」によって、創造性や表現方法を大きく飛躍させた。
