Matt Cee

I am best described as open minded and logical. I play to my strengths, and use photography to release creatively while allowing for a multi-phase projects, which drive me. Finding that photo that after all is final, looks as improvised as it was planned. The journey for me is finding a great photo where most do not see one. Through manipulations, filters and effects, I thoroughly enjoy finding, taking, processing and providing artistic visions that are meant to allow those same people who didn't see the beauty there before, and turning them into the ones that are pointing it out to others. I prefer to engage in abstract, landscape, and natural photography as my main categorical alignments.

I have studied photography and art since I was a teenager. My uncle was professional photographer, for a couple years, and I learned many tips and trick from him, which also gave me a immediate interest in the art form. Although he wasn't very successful in his venture I had gained an interest that has stayed with me since. I truly love playing with the technical aspects of the photography process. The amount of varied results that can be achieved is enlightening.

Currently I have been invited to bring three pieces to an art gallery, in the Spring, to be exhibited in the main hall where they will be displayed for up to three months or until sold. This is the first time I have ever participated in an exhibit and the invitation was a great honor, as many of our most prominent local artist have pieces in this gallery, as well.
