Maude Cournoyer

Maude Cournoyer is a French Canadian artist born in 1985. Since graduating with an interdisciplinary arts bachelor's degree, she has enjoyed working in a variety of media, including songwriting and visual art. Her universe has been described as both subterranean and expressive, and by some as psychiatric feminism. What the artist seeks above all is to create works that are accessible, sans flaflas, and radically sincere.

In 2017, her naive, minimalist and expressive drawings were noticed by gallery owner Chantale Hudon, who gave her the chance to exhibit for the first time. Since then, her work has graced the walls of many art lovers and collectors.
