Beguet Marie-Christine

Since 1980, French artist Marie-Christine Beguet has worked predominantly on abstract art installation and painting, interested in rounds and lines, using in particular acrylic on canvas, with full of colors produced of natural pigments from Roussillon (Vaucluse, France): ultramarine blue,red and yellow ochres. When she begun engraving at the Maison de la Gravure in Montpellier (France,2010) something was different. "It was a turning point in my life, and I began using darker colours. Since three years, I work on self-portraits and effacement too, using different mediums : collage, Indian ink, acrylic, oils, drawing..."
