Marianna Chayka

I am an independent polystylistic artist, living in between Georgia and Spain. My work combines a realistic approach with non-figurative aesthetics. Experimenting with various techniques, I explore the possibilities of transforming direct sensory experience into a universal symbolic message. I devoted herself to painting after the end of my musical career, and this unusual personal trajectory influenced my plastic language: my paintings are distinguished by special musicality of color.

Making my way in painting, I consciously explored different approaches in order to avoid the tendentiousness of one school. Mark Ginsburg, the honored artist of Russia, set my hand, I studied the technique of intuitive painting with Svetlana Perotti and mastered plein-air painting with Dmitry Kholkin. I consider Konstantin Korovin my mentor.
