Reflectframism is an original art movement founded by Canadian-Iranian artist Meghdad Barani Najafabadi.
Established in 1999 and formally activated in 2009 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, this distinctive style embraces the exploration of the soul’s journey across various dimensions of human experience.
Reflectframism emphasizes the harmony between one’s inner self and the multifaceted external world.
At the heart of Reflectframism is the concept of a central “reflective frame” that serves as the core of each artwork. This main frame holds and respects multiple smaller frames within it, symbolizing the diverse emotions, thoughts, styles, and reactions present in our lives. Each inner frame represents a unique perspective, yet collectively they create a harmonious whole, reflecting the complexity of the human experience.
