Eduard Meinema; writer and visual artist.

I write in an exciting and humorous style; creating intense, passionate and mysterious stories filled with unexpected twists which will seduce anyone to finish reading at full speed. Besides full length novels, I am fond of writing Flash Fiction and Short Stories. All of these 'Twisted Tales' are published as stand alone eBooks in the series 'Flash & Shorts'.

As in my writing I create a variety of artwork: expressionism (Lyrical abstract), realism (mostly fish) and (neo)pop-art.

Expressionistic works are created with acrylics and sand on canvas or wood. Mixed with natural materials. These paintings reflect natural sceneries, landscapes and cities. The style of old Dutch landscape painters, revised into abstract images.
The love for small objects can be seen in the series of daily (!) Mini Abstract paintings, also called Daily Abstractions.

"I admire creative spirits, Many styles are appealing to me and like every artist I have been influenced by earlier artists, from Rembrandt to Keith Haring and anyone in between.
