Akhil Mekkatt, born in Kerala in 1988, began his journey with watercolor at an early age. Now based in Bangalore, his work is characterized by the expressive and fluid nature of watercolor, which he uses to capture both emotion and movement. Influenced by the masters of Impressionism as well as contemporary visionaries, Akhil's paintings remain deeply rooted in traditional watercolor techniques, while also embracing a modern artistic sensibility.
