Melanie Armstrong

I’m an artist based in the Peak District who also happens to love design. I’ve been obsessed with the local wildlife since I was a child, often giving the things I see personalities, anthropomorphizing them so to speak, imagining their perspective on our human idiosyncrasies. I look for the humour within.
Inspiration is easy in my surroundings. Cycling the hills and valleys around my home allows countless interactions in a variety of settings, providing me with a unique perspective. It drives my creativity.
I like to marry humour with technique and observation, all wrapped up in an artistic ball.
