Thomas Brummett has been working as a fine art photographer since 1983 when he graduated
with a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. He is a College
Professor, Art Currator, Father & Dog Daddy.
For his life long series ReThinking the Natural his work has been honored both nationally and
internationally. Nationally he has been honored as one of the best photographers in America in
the hardbound annual American Photography #11, #12, #23, #28 #30 and #38. In 2008 and 2014
his work was honored best in the world by the World Photography Awards. In 2004, 2009 & 2012
he was also honored by the International Photography Awards (IPA).
In 2020 he was honored in France when the French postal system made a stamp out of
Infinities #3 and included him in the museum exhibition
"Dreaming the Universe"
He has had two solo museum exhibitions; In 2023 at the Alfred Ehrhardt Foundation in Berlin.
