Mia Collins

Mia was born and raised in Austin, Texas and was always interested in politics, international relations, geography, and travel more than anything.

She loves learning languages and visiting new places and taking inspiration from new sights and sounds.

Places traveled to date include Canada, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Botswana, South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.

Graduated in May 2015 from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in International Relations and Geography, and double minor in Middle Eastern Studies and Italian.

Post-graduation, Mia promptly decide to pursue neither and instead traveled and decided to become a full time artist. She settled in Uruguay for nearly three years where she worked as an artist, inspired by the calm and beauty of the country.

She is a self-taught artist.
