Michael Craig Carrier

I was born & raised in Southern California, and I’m a USMC Veteran, with Studios in Temecula & Cedarpines Park CA.
I’m a largely a Self-Taught Mixed Media Neon Artist, with over 3 decades of experience as a Painter/Sculptor/Photographer.
Since 1995 with my 1st Solo Exhibition at the Downey Museum of Art, my work has been widely collected, and shown in numerous Group/Solo Shows. Most recently I exhibited three of my works in a group show at the Torrance Art Museum.

Largely Self Taught, I began painting at age 6 under the guidance of my Father, who was a Bacteriologist/amateur oil painter. I received my first Brownie camera at age 8, from my parents and then my first B & W darkroom at age 10. I studied for years with my Paternal Grandfather, who was a Master Machinist for Hamms Brewery in Los Angeles and owned a wood/metal workshop. I have been creating art non stop, for over a half century now!
