I was born in 1951 and was greatly influenced by the abstract expressionist art of the 50’s and 60’s, Experimental and breaking the rules of what art could be.
I graduated from the University of Kansas in 1976 with a bachelors degree in fine art. Studied Zen Buddhism for nine months in 1979 in Haiku on the island of Maui with Roshi Robert Aitken.
In 2015 I retired after 35 years in retail management with a San Francisco bay area art supply company and I am now pursuing art and philosophy in the abstract.
