Michelle Marra

As far back as I can remember I had a paintbrush in my hand. My mother recognized my obsession and enrolled me in private art lessons through elementary school and high school. Art took a back seat while making a career and then a family. I took up my brush in earnest in 2008 working in oils and acrylic; ultimately deciding that I love the immediacy of acrylics. I enjoy experimenting and building my own language through color and texture.

I was chosen to participate in the inaugural publication of “Art Folio, A Curated List of the World’s Most Exciting Artists” in 2020; and was chosen again in 2021 and 2022. I was awarded as a finalist in Artist Magazine’s annual competition in 2020; and The People’s Choice Award at Coral Spring’s Museum of Art in 2019.

I consider myself lucky to paint every day and I am ever so thankful to my collectors worldwide.
