Michael Schwarcz

I'm a second generation artist/framer and gallery owner. I was born in Sweden, grew up in Southern California and currently reside in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
I express myself in a variety of mediums, oil painting, charcoal drawings, watercolor, whatever interests me at the moment. To get a complete grasp of my work, check out my Instagram accounts;

I have no formal art education other than the usual college photography, art education, and ceramics classes. My real education comes from being dragged around artist's studios, galleries and museums as a kid, as well as lots of practice. I try to paint every day.

My first exhibition was at Sprouts, in The Woodlands Texas. It was for my first series: "The Art of The Car", Probably about 2013.

I also have to mention, under Exhibitions, published an art poster in the early 80's called "Ladies of the Eighties" that was featured in Playboy Magazine. Of course that was when being in Playboy Magazine meant something. But it was still quite the exhibition!
