Miguel Angel Lorenzio

Visual Artist and Musician.
Professor of Sculpture IUNA.
Participated in different courses at the Di Tella University, residencies, artistic production workshops and clinics.
He participated in several exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Berlin.

In 2018 his work won the Premio Estimulo en Objetos y Ensayos Instalativos del Fondo Nacional de las Artes. Selected for the Vicentin Prize (2019). Winner of the Lidaura Chapite competition (2019) to exhibit in the municipal hall of San Matin de los Andes, In 2020 Shortlisted for Bienal Sur.

His work consists of searching for sounds, he works with different qualities of materials from which he investigates their sound possibilities.
To reproduce these sounds, he builds sculptural objects, sound objects that he installs and stages.

He currently works with the relationship between painting and sound as fields of intersection and question.

He lives and works in Buenos Aires.
