Dimitra Papadimitriou

My name is DIMItra Papadimitriou and I'm a freelance Fine Artist. I was born in Piraeus, the largest port in Greece and one of the largest in the Mediterranean. I'm currently living in a beautiful greek Dodecanesse island, kos.

I studied at University of Athens, Political science and public administration, but my big love was always painting. I was also studying for three years, the original art of Stained Glass (Vitrail).

I'm a self taught digital artist. I think that self-learning is the way to go with anything creative. Teaching my self taught me to absorb and interpret things in my own way.
I first got into digital art before 15 years. My mind was instantly blown when first time I saw what you can create digitally. The magical internet and specialized books or magazines was the greatest resources for learning digital art those years. During the past 15 years I have built a wealth of experience & versatility primarily as a Digital Artist. Digital art is an endless passion for me as to experiment and learn as much as possible.

Art is like an amazing feeling... and creation for me is a way of living. I can't imagine myself existing without being able to express myself through creating. It is a 'microbe', that follows me ...
