Mine Okcuoglu

Mine Okcuoglu is a self-taught artist living in Istanbul. She discovered painting a few years ago as a distinct form of expression allowing her to communicate her feelings in a unique way. Although portraits make up the majority of her highlighted paintings. "I work preferably with acrylic paints and soft pastels allowing me to create very rich color transitions and textures. In my artworks, I use the collage technique to assemble the different materials that İ have amassed in due course. I also love abstract work since it frees my soul and broadens my horizon."
