Mirna Hidalgo is a landscape painter from Argentina, who lives and works in Bruges, Belgium. She creates a a dream atmosphere, where the boundaries between reality and illusion start to blur. The colour palette is full of character and emotion. Her work is mostly inspired by nature and the landscapes of the Romanticism.
Mirna is passionate about investigating the way we think and behave, what motives us and how we become wiser. She describes herself as a “woman of the Renaissance”, not because she would compare herself to the great masters of that time… but because she cannot -and does not want to!- settle for a single, mono-directional profession. In the Renaissance it was common to combine knowledge in several fields of study. Mirna is an artist, designer, dance teacher, lawyer with 20 years of corporate experience, leadership advisor, trainer and certified coach. Art is simply another way of reflecting and seeing the world through different perspectives.

Mirna graduated in Fine Arts from the Academy of Bruges, Belgium. She also has degrees in International Law and Law and Economics of Competition, is a certified dance teacher and personal development coach. She regularly lectures postgraduate students on communication applied to negotiations, influencing skills and creative thinking.
