About the PIECES
I hesitate to call myself an "artist" -it puts me in with a lofty class of individuals a membership with whom I don't feel capable of justifying.
Most of these pieces are created with the use of photographs and digital painting and illustration. I will stress that, I myself, have had difficulty taking the medium seriously, but ultimately have concluded that my skepticism was in error. I have painted using the conventional tools of the trade: the brush, the palette, the light, pastels, watercolors, oils and their varied and distinguished brethren.
