Michelle Mohn

I was born in Russia, in the city of Orenburg, in 1974. I started drawing early, before I could walk. It was my salvation, the ability to broadcast feelings, emotions, thoughts. Drawing was my anchor keeping me alive. Also early on, I developed an interest in the anatomy of the human body and in beauty in general. This is what fascinated me, attracted like a magnet. Even in early childhood, I fell in love with art nouveau style: book graphics, furniture, decorative and applied art. They were perceived by me as perfection created by people. These special interests formed in me by the age of five a conscious and balanced commitment to become an artist, in order to be able to share through the language of fine art the beauty that I see, the way I perceive it. Since the age of five, I have been waiting every day for the opportunity to pass the exams at the children's art school, and finally, this moment has come, and I managed to pass the exams and get a place in the competition of 15 people for a place. After graduating from the children's art school with honors, I managed to pass the quest for the second time and become a first-year student at an art school at the age of 14, having passed a competition of 25 people for a place.

1994 - work as a teacher of fine arts at a school with advanced study of art
1995-1997 - teacher of additional education at the center for children and youth creativity. studio for children and teenagers. teacher of drawing, painting, composition, sculpture, arts and crafts.
1997-2000 - teacher of additional education in the regional center of children's and youth creativity. costume designer and theater artist, make-up artist, decorator.
2000 - emigration to Germany
2001 -2004 birth of a son and parenting leave
2004 resumption of painting and graphics
2008-2009 work in the Waltorff school as a teacher's assistant. art projects with children of different ages.
2011 - Confirmation of the diagnosis of autism (Asperger's Syndrome) after long-term diagnosis in an autistic ambulance, Dresden.
2013 - work in a professional training center for people with psychiatric diagnoses. Practice in an advertising bureau. A series of watercolors for the encyclopedia.

1995-2000 - participation in various exhibitions in Orenburg, prize for the best drawing, prize for the best painting among 3-4 year students.
