I was born and raised in Homs, Syria, an ancient city, surrounded by huge cultured diversity.

My parents and siblings were interested in arts of all forms, so I grew up in a home full of arts and music.

Since childhood I had a profound interest in decoration and carried that to my adulthood.

Color’s matching and arrangement brings warm feeling and comfort to me and transfer a humble place to a home .

In the eighties I found myself in Chicago.

A self-taught painter, never had the chance to go to school, it all started later in life, and what a wonderful journey has been.

I never liked planned projects, I always loved spontaneity, and it showed in all my works

I am interested in human emotions and experience, and that were I reach for ideas and subjects.

I hold a degree in economics , but i am a house wife and a mom , soon to be grandmother .

life taught me to express my emotions and feelings through colors and paintings
