Mojeane Dryad, born and based in Hanover. Working in abstract painting and photography.

Her painting practice shows similarities with music-making and dancing like improvising on an unknown instrument searching for a peculiar sound. The adventure is to create something so spontaneously that it becomes an independent entity born through floating music and inner movement.

Her photographies connect the real with an abstract world in a mystifying and whimsical way. Mojeane feels attracted to the simplicity of natural elements. The intensity of the light can transform them into a secret treasure. The atmosphere of her pictures is influenced by nature and plants as sentient beings, the works of Josef Sudek as well as the Old Masters.
