Morgan Ferriter

Morgan Ferriter was born 1971, Dublin and grew up in County Donegal, Ireland. Nature is the main subject of my paintings. I have always been influenced by atmospheric light and dramatic cloudscapes. My aim is to recreate the mood and feel of a scene on canvas. I find most of my subject matter in the Northwest, particularly Donegal. Some of my work is completed more spontaneously sometimes painted in one single sitting.
