Mowafak Alrassam

Our world is a Giant Abstract Painting, but if we look deeply inside we will find between the crowds of the brush strokes a small hand of a child , a butterflies wing , a wheat field or an old guitar string, this is how I see the world, and this is my understanding to the relationship between the Art and the universe.
The Artist always is the guide to the troth, that's why I paint, to find my way to the truth. Because the world is cold, while the truth is warm and our world is living in darkness, while the truth is full of light (no wonder the canvas is white!)
For many years, my Art time has become my way to commune, with everything around me as well as reflect and confront myself. True joy and passion fill my being as I travel over canvas, paper, or any other media.
