Matthew Teter

I was born in 1973 in Dodge City, Kansas. I am an artist and high school art teacher now residing in San Antonio, Texas. I am interested in various media but focus primarily in painting. My recent works have to do with still life, landscape and portraiture. Thick application of paint and immediacy are aspects I strive for while using my painting process to study and understand the world around me. Teaching and making art are two of my greatest passions in life.
