Profile of Dr Naini kumar the artist

I grew up in India, passed intermediate in Art from JJ School of Art Bombay at about 14 years in age. I had a watercolor painting published in Shanker's weekly. I passed my medicine degree in 1959. I continued to paint. I exhibited in medical college.

After my FRCS, I started practicing as a surgeon in NHS in England and continued to paint and draw.
I attended courses in Art in adult education centers in Eltham and Bromley, including Life class.

I see color, vibrancy and continuity all around. My paintings are not limited with in a frame. I like painting glass still life and flowers.
My subject has now widened including abstract and Life painting.
I love cooking and watching films.
I have two sons and a daughter. I have four grandchildren.
I am a widower. I spend my time in India in winter and summer in England

I had exhibitions in Chelsea town hall in London in 2010 &2014, in India at South Point Mall in Gurgaon. I exhibited in Agora Gallery in Chelsea area of New York in 2017.
