Natalia Bacigalupo

I am a contemporary figurative and mixed media artist exploring quiet moments of everyday life and the subtle presence of human experience.

My work focuses on intimacy, domestic spaces, and familiar objects that carry emotional memory — tables, garments, interiors, food, and fragments of daily rituals. Rather than depicting direct narratives, I am interested in what remains unspoken: pauses, traces, and atmosphere.

Working primarily with acrylics and mixed techniques, I balance figurative elements with painterly abstraction, allowing texture, color, and composition to guide the emotional tone. My paintings invite the viewer to slow down and reconnect with a sense of calm, warmth, and presence within contemporary life.

Private studies with artists and instructors affiliated with the Surikov Institute and the Stroganov Academy of Art and Design.

Professional experience includes teaching decorative and mixed media practices within independent educational programs.
