R.Nedunseralathan:
An engineer retired from government service eight years ago. Have had interest in art right from my younger days. My interests are in various fields like literature, maths, computer and sports.
I took up art seriously after my retirement and do painting in various media and styles.
I create works in pencil, oil pastel (I like this medium very much), acrylics and oil. Lately I do mostly in digital medium.
My style is predominantly abstract but do some portraits, figurative art, landscape also.
I live in Chennai.
Statement:
Spontaneity is the essence of my artworks in my abstracts - I do not plan and restrict myself to any preconceived end result. I do not lead , instead the painting leads me to a destination I am not aware of at the beginning. The end result is invariably surprising and satisfying.
