Negin Kianpour

Born in Iran, trained in architecture, and having completed a Master’s in Architecture in the UK, the artist’s background in architecture has shaped a unique understanding of form, space, and identity. Inspired by studies in London, the work focuses on creating hand-painted mirror paintings that explore identity, culture, and emotional space.

These works, known as Mirror Stories, invite viewers to see themselves reflected within each piece. Each artwork becomes a dialogue between reflection, color, and surface, revealing personal and collective narratives. Through this approach, emotion, storytelling, and spatial awareness are merged to create pieces that are visually striking and deeply personal. The artist currently lives and works in the UK.
