I am from India and UAE has been my home for 13 years. Since childhood, I was inclined towards sketching and pursued it till secondary school attending local art schools which has given me a strong foundation in understanding forms, shading and blending. Time was not in my favor until the lockdown because of the pandemic. It was during this time that I first held a brush but never felt like it! I have decided to teach myself this new form- a new challenge that I would set for every canvas. Started out with animals and slowly graduated to human forms with my ‘Evergreen Brush’. The process of putting down an idea on paper first, deciding my color palette is never enough for me. ‘What should be the striking feature for this painting?’ ‘Any new technique that I can try to make my work stand out?’ These thoughts drive me to work harder on every painting- a journey that I thoroughly enjoy! My motto- Every painting is a colorful story which lead me to name my insta handle- nehascolorpalette.
