Photography and art have been part of my life since I was young. I grew up with camaras, developing paper and the smell of processing chemicals. I remember watching my dad who was a professional photographer process film in the dark room.
I first started painting in watercolour and then progressed to acrylics and oils. When I ran out of paper or canvas, I painted on the back of old rolls of wallpaper. I am very lucky to have a daughter who love my work.In the early 90's I started experimenting with digital art, combining my love of Photography with new fangled computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Fire works and Illustrator. Since then I have designed artwork and photography for a cafe in Pimlico. My art is completely internally driven, it is about my emotions and passions of the moment. I personally think all great art is produced this way… whether it is an abstract, landscape or figure. I am inspired by my intense emotions and by the ridiculous. I love the idea that something can appear very important, but actually be pointless, the world is a very serious place and I feel it is my duty to do what I can to change that, one piece of art work, at a time.
Self thought Artist & Photographer.
