I am an artist, who was born on the shores of Baltic Sea with its zinc-colored water and silver-indigo sky. I’m in love with the misty humid air and colors dissolved inside of it. The way fog is spreading in layers and contours of things flows one into another – just marvelous. I feel how everything and everyone on our Planet is connected with some energy lines, that’s why you will find my paintings pretty striped ?

Oil paints and gouache are my passion. Soft synthetic brushes are my magic wands. Favorite ones are filbert-shaped (but not only), size 6 brushes usually in my hand draw independently, so if I am lost, I can always rely on this little trick ? I prefer smooth surfaces to paint on it (canvas, paper), prime well and add the final coating to preserve paintings. In case of gouache, cold wax covering not only keeps it safe and waterproof, but also gives special depth to colors. Speaking about the choice of colors, I almost never use original paint from a tube, I love to mix colors to find the one. Naples yellow red and yellow ochre have a special permission to be applied on canvas in their original state somewhere.

My education started in childhood, I remember my mom used to draw for us, It was the magic of creating your own world, taking the best parts of surroundings, capturing inner beauty to make a warming and inspiring place for yourself. My workmanship had grown with the years of contemplation of masterpieces and thanks to experienced artists from all over the world, who shared their knowledge with auditory. So I am a person who has seen enough and is well trained now.
