Mikael Nilsson

Born in the small town of Skovde in 1971, which is located in the southwest part of Sweden. I received my Master of Fine Arts in 2005 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Trondheim, Norway, after having studied at various Art schools in Sweden. Currently I live and work in Stockholm.I´m interested in perception. What experiences we individually filter and what remains. In my work I forge together images I find on the internet together with my own. Virtual worlds and touristic images as well as personal reflections are brought together on canvas to create something new.
