Jacek Juriewicz was born in 1966 in Szczecinek. The interest in art, in particular painting and drawing, was revealed in adolescence. In the second half of the 1980s, he took lessons of drawing, painting and sculpture with Ewa Jędrzejewska-Drygas, Andrzej Berezianski and Wiesław Adamski. The work of Jacek Juriewicz from that time is characterized by catastrophism, succession of fascination with the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch, Salvador Dali and Zdzisław Beksiński. This period, lasting about 10 years, abounds in many exhibitions at home and abroad. Later, realist tendencies appear in the artist's works - landscapes and architecture of family parties that will survive until the beginning of the new century. At that time, there is interest in the human figure, above all act and portraiture and nature.
The artist's work is characterized by high aesthetics and expression that manifests itself in the combination of bright, colorful spots, which makes the images (mainly portraits, nature) look like dreamy visions or scenes painted from the imagination.
Jacek Juriewicz exhibited paintings on collective and individual exhibitions many times.
