Nicolas Lamas

Nicols studied fine arts for 4 years at the Pontificia Universidad Catlica in Lima, Peru (PUCP). In September of 2002 he flew to Spain to continue his studies in art at Barcelona University, graduating in June of 2005. During that period he participated in several exhibitions throughout the Catalunya region in Spain, and attended professional workshops taught by world renowned artists.

In 2006, Nicols had his first individual exhibition in Lima, Peru, with a series of pieces for specific places that build new relationships between painting and the spaces of a domestic, hybrid, and fragmented architecture. At the moment he is working on a number of diverse projects that include painting, installation, video, and clothing design. He currently lives and works in Peru.
