Nina Lautenschlaeger

Art is currently only a hobby that helps me to conquer the stressful days in the lab that can drain all the energy from you. Working in academia is filled with competition, frustration and high expectations. Abstract art is helping me to release all this tension - without the pressure to perform - but I am still having high expectations on the outcome.

Internship and Bachelor Thesis at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA

Master Thesis as part of the international competition in Synthetic Biology (iGEM 2017) at TU Dresden

2018-now PhD Student at the Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens (Microbiology) in Berlin, Germany
