Nina Krueger-Schmale

Nina Krüger-Schmale is a versatile artist. Already in her early childhood, her artistic talent and her special creativity were expressed, not only in her drawings and paintings, but also in her sculptural works. So she began at the age of five years, her self-taught tailoring.
She studied at the HfbK, today UDK (Academy of Fine Arts) in Berlin with the famous tachist Fred Thieler painting. He was known to give his students great freedom for their artistic development. For example, Nina Krüger-Schmale, Eg the path of representational painting. She has a great success in studying textile design at the Academy. A work is in the Museum für Verkehr und Technik in Berlin. During her artistic career textile design became increasingly important. In her textile objects and sculptures, she can best express her thoughts, political views and her criticism best. Her love of nature is expressed in her animal drawings and landscapes.
