Nipples Of Venus

Based in Portland, Oregon USA, Nipples of Venus is a collaborative, body positive, art project between artist Boob Ross and the amazing women of the Pacific Northwest.

Each piece of art is created by painting the model's breast and pressing a gessoed board or watercolor paper into her nipple. A unique and one of a kind work of art is produced using a monotype process, numbering 16 per session.

The project began in August 2015 with three models; Verronica Kirei, Whim Grace, and Floofie. Lillias Right, Pure Rebel and Nikko Jordan and more have lent their talents to the project.

Art from the fount of life!

Boob Ross is a painter living in Portland, Oregon. He is currently working on the series’ Mandalas, Maps and Narratives.

Boob taught illustration design at Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia and illustration at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. He co-founded The Illustrators’ Jam with PNCA and Raw Visceralia, an art experience.

Self taught, studying for a BA in applied arts at Portland State University and Oregon College of Arts & Crafts.
