Since I was old enough to venture out on my own, I have taken long solo walks in the meadows and forests of regional parks and open spaces. First in the hills of Oakland where I grew up and now near
my home in Santa Cruz County. I've been making art for just as long. The inspiration and subject matter of my paintings, drawings and prints are the trees I encounter on my walks.
