I make stuff called "art."
From linocuts to mixed media illustrations, I'm always starting and dreaming up new work.
Some projects take years to come to full realization while others find completion after staying up way past my bedtime just once.
For one piece, I've been collecting fallen Remembrance Day poppies from the ground for more than a decade. You won't believe where I stumble across these things.
Abstract expressionism is definitely my anchor and I've been refining my style with it since around 2000. Working through a difficult piece to bring a sense of balance and resolution can be a very engrossing task, exhausting even, and creates a depth in the finished work that can really engage a person's emotions and meditation.
The rarity of a piece that comes with ease and is naturally full of life makes it something that is both a joy to create and hard to let go of.
Right now I'm working on my next "Big Thing." It's pretty awesome. So awesome in fact, it's going to cost somewhere around 40k to fabricate.
Think, large scale digitally painted photographic neo-impressionist pop art.
Now say it ten times really fast.
