Norman Tveit

Residing in Taos, New Mexico, I paint with the camera by deconstructing electronic photography. As an award-winning 'zine editor, visual artist and filmmaker, I'm passionate about image-making. The color work showcased here is digital photography. These images are photographs printed without photoshop or other alteration. Focus and exposure are merely pushed beyond their technical limits to render a more painterly impression of the scenes. My inspirations are the plein aire and impressionist schools of painting as well as other fine art movements of the early 20th century. I enjoy long walks on the beach, dinner for two and kittens.
